Our Centre Policies

 At Dermal-Care Esthetics & Wellness Centre, we strive to bring our clients an environment where the highest level of service is provided to nurture the well being of mind, body and spirit, infusing Western modalities with knowledge of Eastern healing well being.  Please make yourself aware of our policies and procedures as described below.  Our policies have been designed to ensure you enjoy a truly enjoyable visit with us. 


 BOOKING/CANCELLATION POLICY:

Last minute cancellations and no-shows have a significant impact on our ability to serve our clients. Preparation for your treatment begins well before you enter our studio. Our esthetician limits the number of clients she sees every day to ensure the highest level of quality in our services.  She depends on clients showing up for their scheduled time, as she is in the office only by appointment.

In order for us to reserve a place in our schedule for you, we require that you agree to our cancellation policy, as follows:


  • We kindly ask you to provide us with at least a 24-hour notice for all appointment cancellations. Due to COVID-19, for your convenience appointments can be canceled up to 4 hours before your appointment time. 
  • In the event of a last minute cancellation or no show, the client is responsible for 50% cost of the scheduled treatment. No exceptions.
    • Our appointment confirmation and reminder emails and texts are a courtesy. Not receiving these communications does not make a last minute cancellation or no show exempt from our policy.
  • If the client is more than 15 minutes late to an appointment without notice, the session is considered canceled and the client is responsible for 50% cost of the scheduled service.

Upon Arrival

  • Please check in at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment. This allows time to complete intake forms and for you to prepare for your appointment.
  • If you are late for your appointment, the service time may be shortened to accomodate the next incoming clients.
  • Please turn cellular phones and pagers off.
  • Please let us know if you have special needs or disabilities.
  • Please leave all valuables, including jewelry, at home. We cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged personal items.
  • Due to the sensitive nature of our equipment, children under 12 are not permitted in treatment rooms.
  • As a small, family-owned and operated business, gratuities are graciously accepted for services rendered, upon your discretion.

Gift Certificates

Dermal~Care Gift certificates are available at our facility, in any denomination. They can be exchanged for both services and retail items. We also accept Spa Finder Gift Certificates, for services only, available at WWW.SPAFINDER.COM.
PLEASE NOTE: Gift certificates cannot be replaced if lost or stolen, and are not redeemable for cash.

Payment Information

We accept MasterCard, Visa, Cash, and American Express. We regret that we can no longer accept personal checks. 

Product Returns

We offer a 14-day refund or exchange policy on all of our skin care and cosmetics products. 

No exceptions, please.

Special Considerations

Some treatments are not recommended for guests who have certain conditions.  For your safety we require a doctor’s clearance before beginning treatment, particularly in the face of the following:


  • COVID-19 
  • Cold or allergy symptoms
  • Congestion, coughing, sneezing
  • Cancer
  • Thyroid conditions 
  • Swollen or painful lymph nodes
  • Infectious skin condition or thrombosis
  • New injury 
  • Cardiovascular conditions, including pacemaker, high or low blood pressure
  • Recent surgery
  • Surgical implants 
  • Recent BOTOX or Dermal Fillers within 2 weeks
  • Open sores



Client  confidentiality is maintained at all times. No information is shared with anyone outside of the office unless it is at your request.
